*The other partner will find their assigned tote tray and label with name and class period
*Partners will switch tasks
Closure and Assessment: (5 minutes)
Clean up, put sewing machines away, store thread, bobbin and fabric in assigned tote trays.

*Students will collect their trays and drop off their books and possessions in the cubbies.
Activity: (35 minutes)
*Students will be working in their table pairs.
*Have the students move to their machines and set them up as per previous lessons
*Pairs will receiver set of step-by-step instructions detailing the process of threading both the bobbin and thread into the machine.
*Working with their partners and a neighboring group if needed, students will interpret the directions and one at a time students will practice threading their machine.
*When they students feel the machine is threaded properly, they should ask for a check
*At the machines the teacher will do a visual check of the machines threading – pointing out any issues and asking students to make any necessary corrections
-If visually the machine looks correct, the teacher will sew a line of stitching on scrap fabric to test the correctness of the threading.
-If the stitching is correct, have students unthread the machine, switch partners and practice threading the machine again.
